Authors registration fee include: lunch, banquet, conference tour, conference proceedings (USB) and conference bag.

The conference tour, which is a one hour boat trip on the River Tyne, will be registered on a first-come first-serve basis.

Registration and submission policy

  • All papers submitted to EFEA 2012, must be written in English and formatted in the standard 2-column format according to IEEE standard.
  • Papers should be submitted electronically to: Submission.EFEA2012@northumbria.ac.uk
  • Final accepted papers should not exceed 6 pages. However, authors are allowed to upload longer manuscript up to a maximum of 8 pages; any excess page will incur an additional charge of £50 per page.
  • The decision regarding the acceptance of each paper is at the discretion of the conference's Technical Program Committee.
  • If the paper is accepted, at least one of the authors listed on the paper must attend the conference and present the paper according to the scheduling decided by the conference's Technical Program Committee.
  • In the event that the presenter is unable to attend the conference, it is his or her responsibility to ensure that the paper is presented by a qualified colleague.
  • At least one of the authors listed on the paper must register for EFEA 2012 to upload the final accepted paper or poster.
  • Student registrants may upload one final accepted paper.
  • Regular registrants may upload up to two final papers. Additional papers can be uploaded for £100 each.
